APT Sponsors The 125 Challenge

APT was proud to attend a dinner on the 2nd July at the National Conference of the Royal Life Saving Society which celebrated its 125th anniversary year. As a customer of APT who implemented Stratum, APT offered to support an initiative which commemorated William Henry’s work and the continued efforts by the organisation over the last 125 years.

The initiative was open to all of the RLSS branches, but Northumberland & Durham were congratulated as the challenge winners. The prize was presented by Stuart Shepherd, who was in attendance from APT along with our Senior Account Manager, Claire Gears. 

William Henry founded the Royal Life Saving Society in London in 1891 in response to hundreds of unnecessary drownings in the UK. He set out to teach lifesaving and water rescue skills to those using the River Thames. APT became a supplier to RLSS in 2011 and has since been continuing to develop their system to take advantage of the new technology.
